Once a Stephen Minister is trained they will enter into a relationship with someone facing a crisis or significant life transition and the most important thing a Stephen Minister does, even after all the reading, all the training, all the preparation, is show up. Stephen Ministers are required to attend peer supervision groups where they receive ongoing traning and support relating to their caring relationship. |
