EVERY MOM'S LIFELINE
By Sharon Meaney, Staff Writer
My baby won't stop crying -- what do I do? How can I get some more rest? Did I eat today? MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) helps moms connect, belong, and get help, advice, and yes, even food.
"MOPS has been an incredible way for me to connect with lifetime friends in the body of Christ," says Katherine George. "Also, it has given me insight raising my children in the Lord."
Tiffany Linville agrees, "MOPS has allowed me to see that I am not alone in the journey of motherhood. Having other moms that understand how you feel... has been a huge support for me."
MOPS will meet on Tuesday, November 11 at 9:15am at Calvary Church . Childcare is provided.

MEET DEE WILSON
WOMEN'S MINISTRIES DIRECTOR
What excites you about women's ministries?
One element that excites me about Women’s Ministries is its scope – connecting, discipleship, leadership development, evangelism, serving within and outside of Calvary. I’m pleased to see women embracing the vision to reach the community. Quilt Connection just held a silent auction to benefit the House of Hope, and regularly donate quilts to children’s wings, dialysis centers, etc . Our Bible studies join to minister at women’s shelters, such as Heritage House and InnVision, and send supplies to deployed troops overseas. This Tuesday, MOPS is making fleece blankets for City Team to distribute to the homeless.
I'm passionate about helping women grow closer to God, and to see their lives and relationships strengthened as they grow in Christ. I’m passionate about the women! They’re amazing. Sometimes I get so excited, I can't even sleep.
