Women's Bible Study

WOMEN'S SUMMER BIBLE STUDY SIGN-UPS

Stop by the Women's Table this Sunday in the lobby to sign-up for our Summer Bible Study! Our Summer Bible Study begins June 24th at 9:30am and meets every Thursday. We will be going through Pricillia Shirer’s “ONE in a Million” six week series. This Bible study takes us on an exploration of the Israelites’ journey through the wilderness.

GIVE ME A BREAK!

Give our Calvary Kids volunteers a break by volunteering to serve in their place one or more times this summer. Play a part in our children’s spiritual journey while giving some time off to our dedicated volunteers who serve throughout the year. Fill out the card in the worship folder this Sunday and return it to the Calvary Kids’ table in the quad for a Kit Kat bar! Contact Joy Yankey at jyankey@calvarylg.com for more information.

Baptism

Join us for ONE Service at 10:45am on June 20th!

Baptism is an exciting event for a new or recommitted believer. It publicly demonstrates the miracle God has done in each of us when we believe in him. That is worth celebrating!

This Father’s Day, dress comfortably, come early and join us on the lawn as we celebrate those identifying themselves with Christ through baptism. We will start our one special Father's Day service at 10:45am on the lawn before moving inside for an abbreviated time of worship and dad-honoring teaching. This is a service you won’t want to miss!

Children's programming will be available during the 10:45am service. Elementary children will stay with their parents for the outdoor baptisms at the beginning of service. Please sign in children before the service in Parkside 1&2 so they can be sent in quickly following the baptisms.

Be Fruitful

SUMMER SERIES & LIVE MUSIC starting June 27th

Our new summer series "Be Fruitful" starts June 27th. During the series our High School band will be providing live music in our quad area. Come and connect with your Calvary community in between services

START TAKING PHOTOS! Calling all photographers! Send us your photos conveying love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Original pics will be displayed throughout our summer series "Be Fruitful." More info @ http://befruitful.posterous.com. Send all high-res pics digitally via email to agridley@calvarylg.com. Make sure to include you name, a title (ie. love, joy, patience) and a brief description of photo. Get out there and start taking pictures!

KENTUCKY GO TEAM FUNDRAISER

Calvary Church is sending a team to rural Kentucky to Appalachia, home
to some of the most dire poverty statistics in America. Calvary’s Team will partner with Hills and Hollers, a Christian life repair ministry that assists with home repair, family needs and addressing other social issues. Please help us raise funds to go to Kentucky and help those in need by attending our zumba class fundraiser on Saturday, June 19th at 11am in Calvary's Gym. Cost: $10

CHARLIE WEDEMEYER MEMORIAL SERVICE

On June 3rd, Charlie Wedemeyer entered the presence of the Lord to spend eternity with Him. Charlie was a long time football coach at Los Gatos High School and Calvary member. The Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, June 19th at 11:00am at the HP Pavilion. Reception will be at Calvary Church Los Gatos at 4:00pm in Family Life Center.

HANDICAP PARKING REMINDER

Please remember not to park in the space next to the handicap parking with the diagional white lines. Handicap cars need that space to load and unload wheelchairs, etc. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
